I am beyond excited (and a little teary!) to share some amazing news—Danger in the Hills, the very first NOLO book, has officially WON a National Indie Excellence® Award! 🎉

This award means the world to me. Not just because it recognizes storytelling, creativity, and heart—but because Danger in the Hills is a deeply personal project. The story started with my dad, “Uncle Jerry,” who used to spin wild tales for us as kids. I grew up on his stories. After he passed, I made it my mission to finish what we started together.
Winning in a national competition filled with incredibly talented indie authors? I’m stunned. Honored. Grateful. All the emotions. 💛
If you haven’t read Danger in the Hills yet, now’s the perfect time to dive in. It’s the story that started it all—and now it’s award-winning (again!)

More surprises coming soon, so stay tuned. 🐾~ Liz
P.S. If you spot a NOLO in the wild... be sure to let me know. 😉
